Roderica L. (Ross) Craven of Houston Earns Law Degree From South Texas College of Law In Houston

Roderica L. (Ross) Craven graduated from South Texas College of Law on May 19, 2012 earning a Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree. Craven is a 2002 graduate of Michael Debakey High School for Health Professionals and a 2006 of Dillard University. She served as the president of the Black Law Students Association and was on the Dean's List in 2011. She is employed by the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. Her parents are Glenda Williams and Regonald and Angela Ross. Craven will sit for the July Texas Bar Exam. Commencement for the 295 graduates was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston and featured Washington, D. C. attorney and film producer Sig Libowitz as speaker. South Texas College of Law is Houston's oldest and only private law school, founded in 1923.
